Purpose Driven Position

Reporting to the Director of Engineering - Reclaimed Water Technology, the Technical Services Engineer is responsible for providing post-installation commissioning support, customer service and technical recommendations for CarbonCure’s Reclaimed Water Technology applications. The objective of this role is to contribute to the overall success of new and existing customers. The primary function of this role will be to work with customer QA/QC and production managers to implement CarbonCure for Reclaimed Water into their daily production in a beneficial manner.  


The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong technical aptitude with a balance of interpersonal communication skills.  Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a dynamic and high growth environment and is excited to support CarbonCure’s mission to decarbonize the built environment. 


What you'll need to succeed:

    • 3-5 years experience with technical sales, equipment commissioning and/or OEM equipment maintenance support, preferably in the ready-mixed concrete industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to professionally understand, develop and present technical solutions to technical end users
  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with various software; including zoom, slack, project management platforms
  • Experience using a customer relationship management tool (ex: Salesforce) would be considered a strong asset
  • Experience with data analytics software / languages such as Python and SQL would be considered an asset
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to facilitate teamwork with individuals across internal departments and manage relationships with external partners
  • Ability to work remotely and autonomously with a geographically dispersed team
  • Legal ability to travel within Canada and the United States


What you’ll be doing:

  • Build strong relationships with customer quality control and tech services teams to gain confidence in the technology and build trust with their teams
  • Oversee troubleshooting of technical performance issues at customer facilities
    • Training onsite operational staff at client sites to perform routine scheduled maintenance activities
    • Write technical reports and communicate them to customers
  • Work with the digital team to ensure relevant technical data is being collected from new and existing customers 
  • Coordinate data collection and use statistics to make mix design adjustments to our customers 
  • Identify opportunities for increased use of CarbonCure’s Reclaimed Water Technology in customer’s daily production volume


Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position working remotely.  This position will involve travel.
